Neurominder

Analysis and monitoring of perceptual-cognitive abilities of professionnal and sports elites

The Neurominder system uses an augmented reality helmet to provide visual stimulation. The Neurominder is used to analyze and monitor cognitive status, which is ideal before an important event (match, meeting, high-stake event).

NEUROVISUAL AXES AND THEIR AREAS OF ACTION

  1. Occipital-parietal pathway (dorsal) = movements, visually-guided movements, rapid processing of information
  2. Occipital-temporal pathway (ventral) = shape recognition, face recognition, comparison

First-order perception = luminance and colour

Second-order perception = contrast, texture, depth

The test utilizes four types of imagery that place specific perceptual-cognitive demands on regionalized processes within the visual cortex. The four results collectively form ‘perceptual signatures’.
